If you really aren't excited about braces, making them stand out with bright colors may not be your thing. That is totally okay and we get it. That is why there are colors that can help your braces slip into the background. Choose colors like light silver or grays. We also recommend talking with us about clear alignment options. Our best advice for those who want to be discreet with their braces: don't choose white! This will make your teeth look yellow.
Standing Out with Bright Colors
Kids and younger teens are usually the ones that love brighter colors and neons for their braces. We love working with these patients and seeing their excitement when they choose lime greens, bright pinks, or other stand out colors. It is so fun to play around with these colors and let your personality shine! Bright colors also allow patients to further customize their orthodontic experience by choosing colors for holidays, like Christmas (green and reds), or for their favorite sports teams.
Cosmetic Colors
Older teens and adult patients may want to be discreet with their traditional braces colors, but we can also recommend colors that can enhance the look of their teeth even with braces. If you want your teeth to appear white - choosing darker colors for your braces is best. Choose dark blues for the best contrast and avoid grays/blacks as this can look like tooth decay.
